The Natterjack Inn is set in the middle of the wonderful Somerset countryside. It is two miles from the Royal Bath & West Showground and is close to historic Glastonbury and Wells as well as many other local tourist attractions such as the Haynes Motor Museum and Yeovilton Air Museum. The Natterjack Inn was originally called the Railway Inn due to it’s location adjacent to Evercreech Junction railway station on the S&D railway line. The station was closed during the time of Beeching and from that time the pub was renamed the Silent Whistle until it’s final name change to The Natterjack. The accommodation has a lovely homely feel to it and each room is light and airy and comes with en suite shower room, tea and coffee making facilities and digital flat screen freeview TV. Each room takes advantage of the wonderful views in this area with one room overlooking the well tended garden. Breakfast is served in the adjoining family style dining room with a choice of cereals, continental or full English. The pub is renowned in the local area for its extensive home cooked menu and sumptuous desserts. The friendly atmosphere is perfect for relaxing after a hard days sight-seeing. |
